What to expect when we fabricate your custom truck toolbox

When you work with Core Fabrication, you get more than a storage box. You get a fully engineered solution designed to fit your truck and keep your tools secure for years of daily use.

Initial
Consultation

We meet with you to understand your needs from size and layout to tool storage. We also note special requirements like lighting or locking systems.

DESIGN PROCESS

Our drafting team creates a 3D model of your toolbox. This includes internal dividers and shelving or drawers. You approve the layout before fabrication.

PRECISION FABRICATIONS

We fabricate your toolbox to meet weight, strength and finish requirements. Then we add extra features like weatherproof seals and premium locks. Optional lighting available as needed.

FINAL INSPECTION & DELIVERY

Each toolbox is test fit to your truck deck or service body for proper alignment and ease of use before pickup or delivery.

Can you build toolboxes to fit my existing truck deck?

Yes. We design and fabricate toolboxes that match your deck dimensions exactly so there are no gaps or wasted space.

What materials do you offer for toolboxes?

We can build in a wide variety of premium materials, including stainless steel and aluminum. Stainless steel offers maximum strength and resists corrosion. Aluminum is lightweight for optimal fuel efficiency.

Can you add interior lighting and power?

Yes. We can integrate LED lighting, 12V or 120V power outlets. We can even add motion sensors so your crew can access tools in low light conditions.

How do you keep toolboxes weatherproof?

We use automotive grade seals and reinforced lids. Our precision welding process also keeps water and dust out. This protects your tools in any weather.

Can you add custom dividers or drawers?

Absolutely. We can include fixed dividers, pull out drawers and shelving. We can even add slide out trays for quick access to tools you use often.

How long does a custom toolbox build take?

Most smaller fabrication jobs, including toolboxes, can be completed in 2 to 3 weeks. Larger or highly customized storage systems may take 4 to 5 weeks. We provide a clear timeline before starting the build.
