Can you design my deck to handle my crane and typical load weight?
Yes. We start by reviewing your:
- Chassis specs
- Crane model
- The weight of your most common loads
Our drafting team then models the deck and crane placement to ensure proper:
- Axle loading
- Frame reinforcement
- CMVSS compliance
This is done to ensure you can lift and haul safely.
How do you make sure weight is distributed properly?
Our design process accounts for load placement, axle spacing and outrigger positioning. Each deck is weighed after fabrication to confirm compliance. This gives you a stable platform that won’t overstress your frame or compromise safety.
Can you add tie down points where I need them?
Absolutely. We work with you to plan the number and placement of tie downs so your crews can secure loads quickly and safely. We use heavy duty welded tie downs designed to hold up under daily use.
What about clearance for the boom itself?
We design the deck around your boom’s operating radius, swing and stow position. This ensures no interference during operation and gives your boom a stable, reinforced mounting surface.
What materials do you use for boom truck decks?
We build most of our custom boom truck decks with high strength steel. All welds are completed by CWB certified welders and finished for long term durability.
Can you integrate storage, pad holders, and work lights into the deck?
Yes. We can add custom cabinets, outrigger pad holders, toolboxes, LED work lights and beacon lighting as part of the build. This ensures everything is integrated and jobsite ready.
How long will my truck be down while the deck is built?
Most smaller boom truck decks are ready in 2 to 4 weeks, with larger or highly customized builds taking 4 to 6 weeks. We give you a firm schedule and regular progress updates so you can plan your work around the downtime.
Do you offer fleet builds or standardize decks across multiple trucks?
Yes. We can replicate a proven deck design across a full fleet, giving your operators consistent tie down locations, crane mounting and storage layouts. This improves efficiency and safety on the job.
