After years of steady growth serving some of North America’s most demanding industries, Core Fabrication is making a major move. On May 19, the Calgary-based custom fabrication shop begins its transition into a brand new 24,000 square foot facility that’s nearly double the size of their current 13,000 sq. ft. shop in southeast Calgary.
The expanded space marks a significant milestone for the company, which has built its reputation on heavy-duty truck decks, custom service bodies, and precision metalwork for oil and gas operators, municipalities, construction fleets, and hot shot haulers across Canada and the United States.
Shop Closure Notice
To allow for a smooth transition, Core Fabrication’s shop will be closed from May 18 to May 25. The team expects to be fully operational in the new facility when they reopen on May 26.
Customers with active orders or upcoming project timelines are encouraged to reach out ahead of the closure:

What the New Facility Means for Customers
With 24,000 square feet of operational space, Core Fabrication will have the capacity to take on larger projects, run more builds simultaneously, and continue delivering the quality their clients depend on. The shop’s vertically integrated process, covering everything from laser steel cutting to hydraulics, electrics, and final paint, will only improve with the added room.
The new facility will continue to be staffed by Core Fabrication’s team of Red Seal journeymen and CWB-certified welders, with the same commitment to safety, compliance, and precision that has made them a trusted name across Western Canada and beyond.
